Melrose Place Actress Opens Up about Cosmetic Procedure

While many actresses chose not to respond to rumors of cosmetic enhancement, or deny them outright, Melrose Place star, Lisa Rinna is coming clean. According to reports, she admits to becoming obsessed with the filler Juvederm, saying, “I thought I looked great. It was a little bit more than normal, but you think it`ll go down … two days ago, I saw a photo of myself at a party and went, ‘Oh, jeez. I have too much filler.’”

Consumer Group Calls for Nanoparticles Ban

For quite a while ‘nanoparticles’ was the new buzzword in the cosmetics industry. Now, consumer group Which? has raised concerns about the use of these particles in cosmetic products, and is calling for them to be banned. Their concern is that the size of these particles will cause interaction with cells in the body and have a toxic effect. A study by Which? showed that as many as 87 per cent of customers did not know that these particles were used in their products.
