Britney Spears Perfume

Britney Spears Perfume is a joint venture between the famous pop princess and the cosmetics giant Elizabeth Arden. Intended to appeal to her core fan base of teenage girls and young women, the Britney Spears perfume family is bold, sassy, sweet, colorful, carefree and fun.

Britney Spears Perfume comes in five different varieties, all of which are women's fragrances: Curious, Curious In Control, Fantasy, Midnight Fantasy, and Believe. All of these fragrances are sold at mass market stores such as Target and Walmart, department stores such as Macy's and Kohl's, Sephora stores and website, online discount fragrance retailers, and finer drugstores everywhere.

The first Britney Spears perfume was Curious, released in 2004. Curious is a light fruity floral suitable for everyday wear by younger women. It comes in a diamond-shaped bottle on a clear blue base with a blue atomizer. Its notes include magnolia, pear, lotus flower, tuberose, jasmine, cyclamen, vanilla, sandalwood, musk and blonde woods. Curious is available in a 1.7 oz. spray that retails for $42.50, a 3.3 oz. spray that retails for $49.50, and can also be purchased as a body soufflé or shower gel.

Curious In Control is a gourmand variation of Curious, introduced in 2006. It comes in a black diamond-shaped bottle with a hot pink atomizer that contains 3.4 oz. spray and retails for $52.50. Its notes include loquat, orchid, caramel, vanilla, tonka bean, sandalwood, and musk.

Fantasy was introduced by Elizabeth Arden in 2005. It is a sweet, fruity/gourmand fragrance intended for women aged 18-30. It comes in a spherical hot pink bottle studded with rhinestones. Its notes include lychee, quince, kiwi, cupcake, jasmine, orchid, white chocolate, orris root, musk and wood. Fantasy is available as a 1.7 oz. eau de parfum spray for $45.00 or a 3.4 oz. spray for $55.00.

Midnight Fantasy came out in early 2007 and was meant to be the grown-up, sexier version of Fantasy, but it is still mainly a sweet, fruity scent. Its bottle is a midnight blue sphere studded with rhinestones, which comes in a 1 oz. spray size for $38.50, a 1.7 oz. spray size for $45.00, and a 3.4 oz. spray size for $60.00. Its notes include black cherry, raspberry, plum, orchid, freesia, iris, amber, musk and vanilla. Believe is the newest of the Britney Spears fragrances, and was introduced in the summer of 2007. It comes in an unusual inverted-pyramid shaped green bottle with a triangular stopper, and Britney Spears' signature is etched into a metal plate on top. Believe is a sparkling, warm fruity/floral scent. Its top notes are guava and tangerine; heart notes include linden blossom and honeysuckle, and its base notes are comprised of patchouli, amber and pink praline. It retails for $58.00 for a 100 ml bottle.
