Angel Perfume is one of the most recognizable fragrances on the market today. Created by the house of Thierry Mugler in 1993, Angel started the craze for gourmand or foody fragrances that is still hot fifteen years later. Angel perfume is available in a variety of different forms, including an eau de toilette, solid perfume, hand cream, body cream, body lotion, shower gel, deodorant, hair mist spray, glittering body powder, invigorating mask, and replenishing mask.

Angel Innocent was one of the first variations of Angel perfume and is similar to the original but lighter and more sparkling. It contains notes of bergamot, mandarin, honey, dewberry, cassis, almonds, meringue, and amber musk.

Angel Garden of Stars is a line of floral variations of the Angel scent. Angel Garden of Stars Peony, which comes in a pink bottle, is a spicy/green feminine floral fragrance based on Angel with floral, green, patchouli and pepper notes added. This fragrance is perfect for a night out with the girls.

Angel Garden of Stars Lily comes in a paler, more translucent pink bottle. It is spicy but sweet and is lighter, softer and more subtle than the original Angel, with the patchouli, honey and nutmeg played up. It's a great date fragrance and is both innocent and mysterious.

Angel Garden of Stars Violet is a bold, feminine floral perfume in a lavender bottle. This fragrance accents notes of violet, wood tones and patchouli and is stronger than both Peony and Lily.

Angel perfume also has a limited edition scent called the Midnight Collection, which comes as a solid perfume and a pearlized body powder. The Angel Midnight Collection features notes of sandalwood, patchouli, melon, peaches and plums. This version of the Angel perfume is soft but long lasting.

Thierry Mugler also markets two other perfumes outside of the Angel family. Alien is a woman's perfume with notes of amber, neroli, greens, woods and vanilla. It comes in an oddly shaped dark purple bottle and the 2 oz. eau de parfum retails for $67.00. Thierry Mugler, a men's fragrance, is a fresh citrus everyday scent with notes of bergamot, neroli, petitgrain, white musk, and a secret ingredient known only as "S". It retails for $68.00 for a 4.1 oz. bottle or $48.00 for a 2.6 oz. bottle of eau de parfum, and also is available as a deodorant stick.

Angel perfume and the other Thierry Mugler fragrances are available at fine department stores such as Bloomingdale's, Sephora stores, and online discount fragrance retailers.
