Shanghai is New Creative Center for Symrise

Symrise, the acknowledged leader in flavours and scents in the beauty and cosmetic industry is spreading its wing. The Company’ will be opening it Creative Center for its Scent and Care Division in the Chinese city of Shanghai. This will become Symrise’s regional hub for North East Asia

Fifty one employers will be employed for the first phase of the development with plans for this to be expanded to seventy by 2013. The Creative Center will be responsible for consumer research, fragrance development and marketing.

Online reports have Achim daub, Global President of Scent & Care explaining the move: “China is one of the most important growth markets for Symrise. Opening the new Creative Center in Shanghai is proof of the critical role that the e entire Asian market plays in the development of our business…”

The new Center is slated to open its doors on June 18, 2008.
