Go From Day Sexy To Night Sexy

It’s easier than you think to get these looks and it only takes a few products, not a palate full of colors and creams.

The key to a fresh, day-sexy face is to keep it simple. If it takes you longer than 5 minutes to do your makeup, you’re doing too much. And if you’re using more than two products – other than concealer and mascara – you’re putting on to much. For a no-makeup look that accentuates your features so that people notice them and not your makeup, you want to always use sheer color. This is easy when you use two-in-one products like eye and cheek pressed powder or cheek and lip stain. You want to focus on pinks that blend browns or peach and apricot. Too much bronze or gold makes flakes of shimmer (which they almost always contain) stand out and sink into any creases on your face. For the healthy flush we all desire, use a powder brush and eye and cheek pressed powder to add sheer color to your brown bones, lids, to the fullest part of your cheeks and just above your eyebrows. Finish by using your finger to sweep low shimmer cheek and lip stain ever so slightly on your cheeks and lips. Mascara is always a must in brown or light black. Apply close to your lash line and you won’t need eyeliner.

There’s no need to wash everything off and start all back over when you want to go from dewy fresh to evening glamour. Make the sheer colors from the day your base and add a dusting of bronzer tinged with gold to your entire face. Remember, to go lightly on the gold bronzer. A hint makes you look smashing; too much makes you look glittery. Add cat-eye liner with liquid black eye liner. It takes a few tries if you’ve never used liquid liner before but it’s worth it. Swipe a frosted white or pale peach shadow along your brow bone and finish with jet black mascara. Wet your lashes before reapplying mascara to avoid clumps. Top your look with coral-red lipstick that makes a statement and leaves him breathless.

When you remember to stay with sheer color during the day and add only one or two statement features to your evening look, you’ll always be picture perfect and flawless.
