The growing interest in natural products shows no sign of slowing with health conscious consumers making more informed decisions about their personal care products. Alban Muller, a company specializing in natural ingredients for the industry has released a new range of plant based dyes. Online reports quote Annie Daste, speaking for Alban Muller on the new dyes: “The dyes can be used to color all types of personal care products, including gels, lotions and emulsions.”
Many of the Company’s products are derived from plants grown in France, where it is based. The new range of dyes called the Amicolor range, include the base colors of Alfalfa Green, Genipa Blue, Broom Yellow and Madder Red, and a variety shades in between. Madder Red is taken from the root of the Madder plant, and has astringent qualities.
Daste was careful to note that the dyes are not 100% natural due to the extraction processes.
