It has long been established that pregnant women have their own special skincare needs. A pregnant woman usually has to relinquish her normal beauty routine due to concerns about the risks posed by cosmetic ingredients. Now a fashion and cosmetics retailer is set to offer two Honeydew Skin Care products to customers on online at Nordstrom.com.

Bun in the Oven is a belly butter which provides moisture, and guards against stretch marks, a common problem for pregnant women. Women who suffer from itching bellies can try Balmy Mommy, which is said to soothe the skin.

 

According to online reports, Nordstrom shares Honeydew Skin Care’s interest in natural ingredients. Honeydew Skin Care’s product range contains no dyes, fragrances, synthetic colors, parabens or petrolatum. The company was inspired by the scarcity of products made just for pregnant women. Nordstrom, founded in 1901, is one of the country’s biggest fashion and cosmetics retailers, with 159 stores in the US.
