(From CareFair.com) The natural cosmetics industry sector now has a lobby group to represent their interest in the cosmetics arena. The aims of the group, called NaTrue, as reported on Cosmeticsdesign-Europe.com include representing the natural cosmetics industry in “future regulatory developments within Europe and internationally”, to “call for a clear, regulatory, definition of both natural and organic cosmetics” and “hopes to represent the natural cosmetics industry’s voice in negotiations”.
The group was formed in Autumn 2007 according to its president, Moritz Aeberfold under the name, the European Natural and Organic Cosmetics Interest Group (EEIG). However, it will represent the natural cosmetics industry in Brussels using the name NaTrue. NaTrue was announced at the natural Beauty Summit in Paris this week.
