How to keep Hair Healthy and Shining? PDF Print E-mail
Most of us have different textures of tresses. Beautiful hair must be shiny and healthy. Healthy, glossy, manageable hair that reflects light and falls around the face beautifully, is the dream of every woman that is not so difficult to attain after all. The scalp may be oily and the hair will be dry for many people. A regular massage with fragrant oils such as patchouli, lavender and geranium will solve this problem effectively. A clean scalp ensures shining hair. Be careful while you take your head bath. Apply some natural oil to the scalp and massage for five minutes. People with oily hair experience more trouble to acquire a shiny hair than others. The simplest way to get rid of this problem is to regularly rub your scalp with lemon. This will also destroy oily dandruff and bring a new shiness to your hair.

The shiny and healthy hair is not only the result of outward applications. Rapid diet changing can affect your hair in bad ways. It can cause your hair to quit growing and fall. This also applies to diets without protein and rapid changes. You must drink enough water to acquire a healthy and shining hair. You can nourish your hair from inside also. The intake of a solution with one cup of green tea, three tea spoons of lemon juice and one teaspoon of cider will bring enough nutrients for your shining hair. To make sure that the hair that is forming under the surface of your scalp is healthy and growing it is important that your diet remains stable and full of proteins. Keep in mind that hair is eighty eight percent proteins. Proper hair care can postpone baldness as well. If you start hair care at a young age, you're more likely to have less hair problems at older ages. This is why hair care should be an important part of our lives.

Healthy shining hair makes you feel wonderful and is a great confidence booster. Vitamin A makes your scalp healthy and is good for your skin as well. It is found in vegetables especially carrots. Vitamin B and C for hair growth and hair color. Vinegar rinse should not be used frequently as it may dry out your hair. Eating plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables - especially citrus fruits and tomatoes - will help you get folic acid. Whole grain and fortified grain products, beans, and lentils also contain folic acid. A diet for healthy hair should be rich in protein as hair consists of primarily protein. Proteins will give your hair more strength and will prevent it from breaking and splitting. Eat protein rich foods like fish, meat, milk, cheese and cereals. To style your hair using a blow dryer you may want to use a brush. Wrap a small section of hair around the brush. Direct the heat on to the brush and hold it steady until the hair is dry. Start with a warm setting and switch to a cooler one as each section dries.
