Body Scrubs - definition:
A formulation containing small granules in a cleansing base which is massaged onto the skin to remove, or exfoliate the surface layer of dead skin cells.

Homemade body scrubs - functions or tasks
A body scrub perform the task of - provide shine and smoothness back to a dry, flaky or heat overexposed skin.

How to made body scrubs and masks at home? Some easy to make homemade body and facial scrubs for you:
1) You will need: 1 cup fine sea salt, 1/2 cup grape-seed, hazelnut, or almond oil, 10 drops grapefruit essential oil , 10 drops juniper essential oil.

Combine all these in a small bowl and stir thoroughly and then Spread the mixture onto damp skin and massage in. Concentrate on the tough, rough, thickened areas of the body, such as the feet and elbows.

2) Mash 1/2 banana and add 1-tablespoon honey and 2 tablespoons sour cream. Apply to face and let set for about 10 minutes. Gently wipe off with a damp washcloth.

3) Grind 1 tablespoon almonds into a fine meal in a blender or food processor. Mix almond meal together with 1 tablespoon honey and 1 egg white. Apply to face and let set for about 15 minutes. Gently wipe off with a damp wash cloth.
