Some people have no luck or so it would seem, while others seem to cheat death more than once. Both circumstances would be applied to the wife of former Scotland footballer, Colin Hendry. It has been reported that 42-year old Denise Hendry contracted a deadly bacteria while having cosmetic surgery to correct a previously poorly done job.

Thankfully she is said to be recovering form this second ordeal. In 2002, Hendry suffered cardiac arrest and blood poisoning from a botched liposuction. The surgeon responsible for that procedure, Dr. Gustaf Aniansson can no longer work in the UK.

A published statement from her husband, Colin Hendry states, “I spend every day at her bedside and it’s encouraging to see the progress she is making, although there is still a long way to go…”
